Mr Rolfs will alter it & when you see it again I hope it will be all that can be desired'. *The marble sculpture 'The Angel of the Resurrection' is in the Congregational Church in Saltaire near Bradford. Saltaire was built as a model industrial town by Sir Titus Salt and the sculpture is in his mausoleum.

*Lucia Contini Anselmi [b. 1876] was an Italian pianist and composer. An interesting example of Italian colour printing with the pages printed to resemble vellum.

*The recipient is presumably Eduard Hecht [1832-1887], the composer. This is an amusing letter based on puns of the numbers from one to ten.
