The plates except for the frontispiece and title in the first volume are woodcuts. According to the Chaucer Editions website, this edition was re-issued by John Cumberland and suggests that Lewis edited this work when in prison for sedition. Thomas Quarles wrote a history of Foulsham in 1842.
