A well-printed biography of Walton in a scarce and interesting binding. The front cover has a central blind stamp with a portrait of Walton surrounded by decorations of fishing trophies, below the 'Anglers greeting' at foot 'Bound by T. Gosden St Martins Lane', the rear cover is similar but with a portrait of Charles Cotton. and below 'The Boathouse'. There is a similar binding of this work in the British Library : Davis 262. Gosden specialised in binding sporting books.
