Emma Deering was the daughter of John Deering, barrister, and Harriet Armstrong who were married in 1805. The Deerings lived at Mountjoy Square, Dublin and Derrybrusk in Enniskillen. She married the Rev. Joseph North, son of Roger North of Kilduffe House, King's County, in 1845. The couple eventually moved to England. Provenance: By family descent.
